Moody is an Intranet of Things platform that can be extended to work as a normal IoT platform if its final user wishes so. Among the many things it is:

• An open source WSAN protocol and architecture for implementing Smart Home networks using open, non-proprietary technologies;
  
  
• An application for Smart sensors/actuators that collects data and uses Neural Networks to automate your environment without sending your data outside your home;
  
  
• A graphical, browser based application that lets you check on your network, changing its behaviour and its settings;
  
  
• An open project that has at its core collaboration and integration of different technologies.

The main task for which a Moody network is used is the smart automation of WSAN powered elements of the home, but it can also be used to train software components of your applications that need to respond to enviromental inputs based on your habits.
